The Efficiency Table
Winnipeg  ·  One evening  ·  40 seats, hard cap

Get your biggest time-suck diagnosed and fixed live.

Bring the operational headache you keep meaning to fix. We map it on a whiteboard, put a real dollar number on it, and build a working fix live in front of the room. No pitch deck. No sales script.

Counting down
One owner gets pulled up from the room. Everyone else recognizes their own problem in the conversation.
Invoicing after hours.
Scheduling by text message.
Orders falling through the cracks.
The same client email, rewritten for the fourth time this week.
Inventory counted by hand, twice, because nobody trusts the sheet.
The workaround you swore you'd fix six months ago.
01  /  What actually happens

Map it. Cost it. Build it. That's the whole night.

Forty local owners and ops leads, coffee, and a whiteboard. Real problems worked through in real time, with people who get it.

Step one · 25 min

Map the mess

We interview an owner and draw their real process on the whiteboard, step by step, then circle the one step where the time actually disappears. No frameworks, no jargon, just what actually happens between opening and closing.

Step two · on the board

Cost the bottleneck

Hours a week lost, times what an hour of that work is worth, times 52. One number, done in front of everyone, so it stops being a vague annoyance and starts being a line item worth fixing.

hours/wk × rate × 52 = annual cost of inaction
Step three · live build

Build the fix, live

Scoped to the broken steps only, built on screen while it's explained out loud, for as long as it takes to get it right. Not a demo, a working thing, and you see how it works. Whatever gets built stays with the owner, not us.

Everyone leaves with the pocket card: the five most common time-sucks, the fix pattern for each, and the math so you can run your own number at home.
02  /  We've already done this

A Winnipeg shop stopped losing orders. He'll tell you himself.

Order tracking that used to be chaos. One broken step, fixed. No overhaul, no big project. It's still running today, and the owner opens the night with his own story, in his own words.

That's not a pitch. That's his shop, still running the thing we built, told in the room where we're hosting you.

03  /  Who's running the table

Owners know they should be using AI. They just don't trust who's selling it.

We started the Efficiency Table to be the room where owners understand the tools, and know the people helping them build it.

Kavisha Wanigasekara

Kavisha Wanigasekara

Co-Founder

Kav started in accounting, and kept watching the real days disappear into small stuff: logging hours after the fact, writing the same client email for the fourth time that week. So he started automating the parts that don't need judgment and leaving the parts that do alone. AI drafts, a person still decides, and the morning still comes back. Every system he builds has to survive inside a real firm with real deadlines and real client books.

Noah van den Berg

Noah van den Berg

Co-Founder

Noah started a marketing agency helping local businesses launch e-commerce stores and branded content, and kept finding the same thing underneath: the "marketing problem" was actually an operations problem. Now he builds the systems instead of promoting around them, including a dashboard that helped a local running store stop losing thousands in sales. Lifelong Winnipegger, ultramarathoner, and a former bartender who loves to talk.

03  /  The run of the night

Two and a half hours, no slides after the first ten minutes.

6:30
Doors, check-in, coffee. Write your number-one time-suck on the card.
6:45
The venue owner's own story: what changed after we fixed his order tracking.
7:00
The table session: live diagnosis and build with someone from the room, running as long as it needs to.
8:45
Close, and a free ops audit for anyone who wants their own turn at the board.
Come if
You own or run a Winnipeg business and admin is eating your week.
You have one process you keep meaning to fix and never do.
You'd rather watch something get built than hear about it.
You want to see what a real fix costs and takes before you commit to one.
Skip it if
You're looking for a general AI overview or a webinar.
You want a vendor to take the whole thing away from you.
You need a finished, polished product with a support contract, not a working first version.
You don't need to prepare
You don't need to explain your mess perfectly, or know anything about AI. Bring the problem. We'll map it with you.
04  /  Seats

Forty seats. One of them is yours.

Admission covers coffee and light snacks from a local partner. It's capped at forty because past that it stops being a table and starts being an audience.

Want to be the one in the hot seat? Tell us your biggest time-suck when you register, that's how we pick.

We will be donating these proceeds to Harvest Manitoba.

Is this a sales pitch in disguise?

No. Nobody sells you anything on the night. If you want us to look at your own process afterward, there's a free ops audit you can book, that's the whole ask.

Do I have to get up in front of the room?

Only if you volunteer. We ask for a show of hands and pick from people who put theirs up.

Do I need to know anything about AI?

Not a thing. You need to know your own business, which you already do. We handle pointing the technology at the mess.

Is it being recorded?

Yes, photos and video for the recap. You consent at registration, and we don't publish anything from a hot seat without that owner's sign-off.

Where exactly is it, and what time should I show up?

City Park Runners, 2091 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L1. Doors at 6:30pm — grab coffee and write your time-suck on the card before the table session starts.

Who's running the Efficiency Table?

Kavisha Wanigasekara and Noah van den Berg, two Winnipeg founders who both come out of running real operations, not a marketing agency selling AI hype. Their full backgrounds are in the Who's Running the Table section above.

What does the $15 cover?

Your seat for the whole night, coffee and light snacks from a local partner, and a spot in the room where an owner's real problem gets fixed live. Proceeds go to Harvest Manitoba.

What happens after I register?

You get a confirmation email right away with your ticket and a QR code. Screenshot it — that's what gets scanned at the door, no printing needed.

Bring one task you hate.

You didn't build a business in Winnipeg to spend your nights on invoicing. Come watch us fix someone else's first. Yours might be next.
